Create and connect with other secondary teachers at this informal Friday evening workshop.

Taking inspiration from our Marina Abramović exhibition, join director Natasha Freedman to explore performance as a practice through mark-making and sculpture. We'll consider the body as an artistic medium, how we can use our bodies to explore the performer-audience encounter and use movement and an awareness of our physical presence as a starting point.

This session encourages teachers to explore their creativity, experiment, develop skills and meet peers to share experiences and best practice. It includes a visit to our Marina Abramović exhibition.

This workshop is designed with secondary school teachers in mind and is suitable for teachers of any subject, not just art. We welcome all levels of art knowledge and experience and provide all materials. No performance skills required.
