Get tips and tricks to improve your sketching by learning from the artworks of Raphael in this guided online class.

During this online class, artist and teacher Ann Witheridge will lead you in a series of exercises designed to help you build and refine your observation and drawing skills.

Together, you'll explore techniques used by master artists of the Italian Renaissance and finesse your own drawing skills by creating sketches based on paintings in our exhibition Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael.

Our Saturday Sketch Clubs are a series of monthly online art classes led by artists. Whether you're a beginner or a practising artist, these live-streamed classes are designed for everyone. Sessions take place online via a live webinar. Attendees will be sent a link to join the webinar in the days leading to the event.

Ann Witheridge studied in Florence where she was taught in the classical atelier method. She has been teaching drawing and painting in the atelier tradition for twenty-five years. She is the founder of London Fine Art Studios.

For this class, all you will need is a pencil, paper and an eraser.
