Play with moods, atmospheres and effects at this session for under fives.

At this Early Years Studio session, children and families will be invited to experiment with light, dark and shadows to shift the atmosphere in our Clore Learning Centre.

Our early years studio programme is a series of regular, child-led creative sessions that are drop-in and designed for under 5’s and their caregivers. Devised and led by artist Amy Leung, the studio space will be full of materials, objects and textures that can be used for child-led play and inquiry. Come along and explore in your own way and at your own pace.

Sessions are supported by a team of experienced assistants and provide options for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. They offer an open and collaborative space where children and families can play, explore, and investigate together.

Due to the popularity of these workshops, we cannot guarantee a space for everyone on arrival. However, there are multiple time slots so it is likely that you’ll be able to join the next session if capacity has already been reached. We have materials packages available for queuing families to use around the RA.
