Learn tips and tricks for drawing buildings and architecture in this online class.
Start your Saturday creatively with this online art class. Join artist Jeanette Barnes for a Saturday Sketch Club focused on drawing architecture expressively. Learn how to draw real and imagined buildings with accuracy and flare, and develop a better understanding of your built environment through drawing.
Our Saturday Sketch Clubs are a series of online monthly art classes led by artists. Whether you're a beginner or a practicing artist, these live-streamed classes are designed for everyone. Sessions take place online via a live webinar. Attendees will be sent a link to join the webinar closer to the time.
Share your work with the online Sketch Club community by posting your drawings to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #RASketchClub or join our Facebook group to connect with other participants.
Jeanette Barnes lives and works in London and studied at the Royal Academy Schools and the RCA. She has exhibited in solo and group shows and has been awarded prizes, including the Hugh Carson drawing award at the Summer Exhibition. She is a senior tutor at the Royal Drawing School, and is co-author of the recently published book City Sketching Reimagined.
For this class, all you will need is a pencil, paper and a rubber.
