Explore line and colour in fun and inventive ways as part of this primary teachers’ continuing professional development workshop.

Inspired by our latest exhibition, Michael Craig-Martin, join artist and educator Emyr Williams to experiment with the use of line and colour in painting and collage.

After a brief visit to the exhibition, we'll think about colour relationships and explore techniques for creating forms in colour and space using your own drawings and paintings created through a set of engaging challenges.

We’ll also consider questions of the role of art history in contemporary practice, incorporating accessible and engaging thinking into the curriculum, and how it applies to the art classroom.

We welcome all levels of art knowledge and particularly encourage state school teachers who would benefit from extra CPD support to teach art at primary level. All materials will be provided.
