Dive into drawing and process in this secondary teachers’ continuing professional development workshop.
After a brief visit to Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael: Florence, c.1504, we’ll explore their work in detail, focusing on how they developed and realised ideas through drawing.
Led by artist and educator Suleman Khilji, we’ll see how drawing can be more than a preparatory tool. We’ll discover how drawing can serve as a medium for thinking and we’ll try to generate our own ideas through drawing.
This workshop is designed with secondary school teachers in mind and is suitable for teachers of any subject, not just art. We welcome all levels of art knowledge and experience and provide all materials.
