When is a figure not a figure? Join artist Emyr Williams for an online life drawing class with a twist.
Start your Saturday creatively with this online art class. Participants will work directly from a live-streamed life model, practicing drawing from long and short poses. Artist Emyr will lead the session, teaching attendees about proportion, form and structure, while encouraging participants to worry less about "getting it right" and focus instead on responding more creatively to the human form.
Drawing on the historical genre of life drawing, this class explores different ways to look at the figure to promote more personal and meaningful outcomes.
Our Saturday Sketch Clubs are a series of online monthly art classes led by artists. Whether you're a beginner or a practicing artist, these live-streamed classes are designed for everyone. Sessions take place online via a live webinar. Attendees will be sent a link to join the webinar closer to the time.
Share your work with the online Sketch Club community by posting your drawings to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #RASketchClub.
