Angelica Kauffman

Be inspired by the work of Angelica Kauffman to create costumes and portraits at this free drop-in session for families.

For this Family Studio, artist Alison Kusner will be drawing inspiration from our Angelica Kauffman exhibition. Use clothes and fabrics to recreate the costumes used in Angelica Kauffman's paintings, before drawing and painting self-portraits.

Our family studio programme is a series of monthly art-making workshops that are drop-in and open to families with children of all ages.

These sessions can be incredibly popular, and as we run a first come, first served system, you may be asked to wait, or return later. The beginnings of the sessions prove the busiest, so we advise you to try joining us slightly later once the initial group have completed their work. We try to accommodate everyone while ensuring that the space doesn't become overcrowded.
