Join us in the Summer Exhibition Architecture Room to hear from the recipients of the Turkishceramics Grand Prize for Architecture and the British Institution Award for Students.
This year, the Summer Exhibition's Architecture Room has been selected by architect and Royal Academician Piers Gough. Gough encouraged architects to enter three-dimensional works of all sizes and scales into the annual open call, and has created a room filled with architectural models.
The judges have now identified the most exceptional projects in the room and have awarded Matthew Bloomfield with the Turkishceramics Grand Prize for Architecture and pronounced Jerome Ng the winner of the British Institution Award for Students.
During this short in-gallery talk, Matthew Bloomfield will discuss his The Parliamentary Campus of God's Own Country project and how it enabled an engagement with the curatorial brief. He will be joined by Jerome Ng, who will take a closer look at Memoirs of a Hospice Care Home, the second award-winning piece in the Architecture Room.
Free with exhibition entry, no booking required.
