Learn how to draw dancers like Degas in this Saturday Sketch Club.
Start your Saturday creatively with this online art class. Taking inspiration from our Impressionists on Paper: Degas to Toulouse-Lautrec exhibition, and the drawings and sculptures of Degas, learn how to draw dancers in a variety of poses. You will draw from live models and dancers, over a series of short and longer exercises. The session will focus on lyrically capturing the power of dance with just a pencil and paper.
Our Saturday Sketch Clubs are a series of online monthly art classes led by artists. Whether you're a beginner or a practicing artist, these live-streamed classes are designed for everyone. Sessions take place online via a live webinar. Attendees will be sent a link to join the webinar closer to the time.
Share your work with the online Sketch Club community by posting your drawings to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #RASketchClub or join our Facebook group to connect with other participants.
