Hear from Marta Peris (PERIS+TORAL), as she reflects on creating social housing, and work commissioned by this year’s Architecture Prize winner, Cris Ballester Parets.
Ballester Parets represents the remarkable collective research and production of bioregional social housing on the Balearic Islands between 2019-23. Her team developed an extraordinary model for building equitably, working with an array of stakeholders.
The lecture will be delivered by Marta Peris, principal of PERIS+TORAL, whose two social housing projects: ‘Raw Rooms’ in Ibiza, and ‘Living in Lime’ in Mallorca had Ballester Parets and her team as their client. Following the lecture, Peris will be in conversation with Stephanie Macdonald and Tom Emerson of 6a Architects, chairs of the 2024 Architecture Prize Jury.
If you're joining us in person, your ticket includes a drinks reception after the lecture, hosted in the Senate Room and Collections Gallery.
Please note that the lecture will be delivered in Spanish with translation.
