Discover Charles Stewart’s illustrations with exhibition curator Amanda Doran and former editorial director of the Folio Society, Sue Bradbury.
Taking Charles Stewart’s illustrations for Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu’s gothic novel Uncle Silas as a case in point, Amanda Doran and Sue Bradbury set out to answer the question of how an artist illustrates a story.
