The Architects' and Antiquaries' Society of London, (or Architects' and Antiquaries' Club) was established on 7 December 1819. John Britton (1771-1857) was the moving force behind its foundation and was the Honorary Secretary.
Twenty members dined six times a year, to hear an essay on a subject of ancient architecture or antiquity. The Society appears to have been short-lived.
