The eldest grandchild of Sir George Clausen, R.A. and Agnes Mary Webster. He was born to Clausen’s eldest son, Arthur George and his wife Elizabeth Kent. Peter’s siblings were John (b. 1921) and Elizabeth (b. 1918). Peter had a least one child called Anthony (Tony).
