Paris and its environs: one hundred engravings, after drawings by Mr. A. Pugin, and three plans of the city and its surroundings, engraved on steel.

First published in monthly parts by Robert Jennings and William Chaplin over a three-year period between September 1828 and July 1831 with the title: Paris and its environs displayed in a series of picturesque views, the drawings made under the direction of Mr Pugin, and engraved under the superintendence of Mr C. Heath. The topographical and historical descriptions by L.T. Ventouillac. Each part contained four illustrations. In France it was sold by the bookseller Treuttel & Wurtz, Paris. The finished work contained 204 steel engravings take from drawings by Pugin and his pupils.
The Royal Academy Library copy contains only one hundred plates; the page numbering begins at page 101, and it includes the added engraved title page from the German edition published by A. Asher in 1834.
