T.K. Richmond; in January he notes working on the
Academy's cartoon by
Michelangelo; in April he proposes that the first work to be purchased by the Chantrey Bequest should be one, now exhibiting, by
John Linnell; in August a letter is placed from Thomas Walpole, 13th November 1876, regarding setting up sittings, also pasted in here is a tribute by Royal Academy students on the death of
Briton Riviere; at the rear is placed a letter from Henry Eyre, a request for his expenses relating to the Academy winter exhibition, and typescript rules for submission of works to the Dundee Fine Art exhibition, 1877.
