3. Ordering
The Graduates will treat each order for Membership (“Order”), which is placed when you click on the “Submit” button after you have agreed to the Terms, as an offer by you to purchase the Membership you have selected. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your Order and, subject to payment, the Royal Academy will supply you with the Membership selected in your Order.
The Royal Academy will confirm each Order by e-mail and such confirmation will be the Royal Academy’s acceptance of the contract.
We will send your permanent Membership card upon receipt of payment within 14 days except for direct debit payments, where your permanent Membership card will be sent within 14 days from receipt of the original signed direct debit instruction. The permanent Membership card will be posted to the address you provide in the delivery instructions for the Order.
If you would like to visit the current exhibition before receipt of your Membership card, temporary or permanent, the Royal Academy can arrange entry for you at the visitors’ desk in the Royal Academy foyer, provided that you bring your Order confirmation e-mail. If you have selected to pay by direct debit, please bring the completed direct debit instruction to the Visitors’ Desk.
Delivery of the permanent Membership card usually takes no longer than 28 days by post to a mainland UK address.
We will send you a temporary Membership card once payment has cleared for payments by card or, in relation to direct debit payments, from receipt of the completed direct debit instruction form by us. The card will be posted to the address you provide in the delivery instructions for the Order. Delivery of the temporary Membership card usually takes 10-14 days by post to a mainland UK address.
In the event that you elect to pay by direct debit but fail to return the direct debit authorisation, no Membership card will be issued to you. If your direct debit payment is rejected or cancelled, then the Royal Academy will contact you to try to arrange payment but reserves the right to cancel your Membership.
4. Payment
You can pay for your Membership by direct debit online or by phone. You can also pay by credit card using American Express, Mastercard or Visa by phone by calling +44(0)20 7300 5650.

Membership of the Graduates shall last for one year until the end of the expiry month specified on your Membership card. After that you may renew your Membership for subsequent periods of one year and you acknowledge that the price for Membership may increase and the Terms may change.
Your Membership is non-transferable so that only you will be able to use it. In the event of card misuse, the Royal Academy reserves the right to withdraw your Membership (with payment for Membership being forfeit) and ban you from becoming a member of the Graduates in the future.
Members gain free entry to the Royal Academy of Arts during opening hours by showing their Membership card. Additional identification for admittance may be required on occasion.
6. Online Access
While the Royal Academy endeavours to ensure that its website is available 24 hours a day, the Royal Academy will not be liable if for any reason the website is unavailable in part or whole at any time or for any period. Access to the website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the Royal Academy’s control.
7. Cancellation Rights
The following terms set out your withdrawal and cancellation rights. They do not affect any statutory rights that you may have.

If you have purchased your Membership online, you have the right to cancel it within 14 days of receipt of your confirmation email. You must notify the Royal Academy of your wish to cancel by using this form.
In the event that you wish to cancel the online purchase of your Graduate Membership within the 14 day cooling off period, the value of any benefits you have already received will be deducted from any refund due to you and a partial refund given.

By continuing to use this website after any changes are made you accept those changes and they are binding on you.
9. Limitation of Liability

The Royal Academy is not responsible to you to any greater extent and in particular is not liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss (including without limitation financial loss such as loss of profit, loss of expenses or otherwise) that you may incur as a consequence of its failure to comply with these Terms. This clause does not operate to exclude or limit the Royal Academy’s liability in respect of death or personal injury caused by its negligence or caused by its fraud.

These Terms and the contract of which they form part shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes arising in relation to the Royal Academy website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
