See early landscapes by Nigel Hall RA, alongside very recent abstract works.
This selling display features differing but intertwined aspects of Nigel Hall's two-dimensional work.
In the late 1960s, Hall produced a series of drawings of Californian landscapes, including Monument Valley, the Mojave Desert and Soda Lake. These early pieces are exhibited alongside multi-media abstract works on paper, produced within the last three years.
"Drawing for me can be seeing, thinking, exploring, connecting and distilling," Hall says. "You need to know something about the subject in order to draw it and once drawn, it’s never forgotten."
Everyone is welcome to view this display. Please note that the Keeper's House is a membership space. If you are not a member, please enquire at the membership desk.
