Friends enjoy a talk and tour of this charming small museum led by the curatorial team, in particular examining some extraordinary fans decorated by Gauguin and Walter Sickert.
Celebrating the history of fans and the art of fan making, the Fan Museum in Greenwich houses a unique and extensive collection of fans from around the world. Prior to tea in the beautiful Orangery, Friends also view an expert led fan making demonstration and discussion of the construction and features of different types of fans.
This event is also taking place on 25 April 2016.
