Portugal Prints is part of the Wandsworth & Westminster Mind network of services supporting adults living with mental health issues. They offer a holistic, tailor-made support program that includes creative arts workshops, art psychotherapy, key working, commercial design work experience, training and volunteering opportunities. The RA has been working in partnership with Portugal Prints for over seven years. Creative people accessing their services work with RA artist educators to co-deliver monthly workshops for other members of their group, inspired by our exhibitions.
For this tour, Portugal Prints artists will select a number of works from this year’s Summer Exhibition and share their personal interpretations and responses.
This tour is part of a series of special tours with Learning programmes and partners who takeover this year’s Summer Exhibition Edit programme, which invites guests to select the five works in this year’s Summer Exhibition that intrigue them the most.
We invite you to accompany them as they describe why their chosen works have captured their imagination. Each tour last approximately 30 minutes.
The event has limited capacity, headsets for the tour will be distributed on a first come first served basis.
