Rodmarton Manor is the supreme example of a house and all its furniture truly crafted according to the ideals of the Arts and Crafts movement.
Much of the furniture was made especially for the house, either in local Cotswolds workshops, or by the Barnsley Brothers and Peter Waals. Friends will enjoy an exclusive tour of the house by the Biddulph family, and have an opportunity to visit the Manor’s beautiful gardens. After lunch, the group will visit nearby Sapperton, its Arts and Crafts Village Hall and Sapperton Church, much favoured by local craftsmen. The church features Jacobean panelling removed from Sapperton Manor House, which originally stood on the Rodmarton site.
Includes coach, coffee, lunch, glass of wine, tea.
