In the Eye of the Storm
Immerse yourself in a weekend of Modernist painting.
During this weekend course, you will develop your painting skills whilst exploring the evolution of Modernist art in Ukraine.
Drawing inspiration from our exhibition In the Eye of the Storm: Modernism in Ukraine, 1900-1930s you will look at examples of Ukrainian Modernism to create your own works. Throughout the weekend you will explore a range of media to produce works on paper and oil paintings. Working with life models, you will unpack the visual language and themes of Ukrainian Modernism, experimenting with colour, form and composition.
