Maria Callas, one of the most iconic opera singers of the 20th century, has long fascinated performance artist Marina Abramović Hon RA. Abramović's opera project, 7 Deaths of Maria Callas, pays homage to Callas by re-enacting her on-stage deaths in seven classic operas, through film and live performance.
