Join us for a life-drawing workshop designed for blind and partially sighted visitors. This workshop will be featured in the upcoming BBC Four documentary 'The Disordered Eye'.

Blind artist David Johnson and experienced audio describer and artist Harry Baxter will lead this audio-described life-drawing workshop specifically designed for blind and partially sighted visitors.

Attendees will be supported to explore a range of materials as participants experiment with artmaking in response to a life model. Disabled artist and filmmaker Richard Butchins will serve as the life-model for this workshop.

This workshop is free and anyone is welcome, including those with no art experience. All materials, refreshments and staff support are provided.

This workshop will be filmed for the upcoming BBC Four documentary The Disordered Eye. Disabled artist and filmmaker Richard Butchins will challenge the importance of good vision in making great art with upcoming film The Disordered Eye for BBC Four. He investigates the impact of changed vision on art, looking at some of the great painters of history through the lens of their impaired vision.
