Radical Geometry
Get your bank holiday weekend off to a sizzling start with our Latin Takeover: an evening of South American flavours and rhythms reflecting the vibrant colour and energy of 'Radical Geometry'.
Join us for this South American celebration, starting with a mojito outside in our courtyard – which will be abuzz with music and dance courtesy of Brazilian Grammy award winner Zeu Azevedo. Once you’ve soaked up the atmosphere, step inside to encounter art that changes as you move around it, paintings that break free of the canvas and interactive work which will challenge your perception of space and colour.
A free tour, Breaking the Boundaries: South American Art of the 20th Century, offers the opportunity to learn more about the fascinating backdrop of social change and political optimism that fuelled artistic innovation across five South American cities. We will also be serving up a Latin-inspired menu to transport your taste buds to the continent that gave us some of the most exciting and original abstract art ever made.
Tickets include exhibition entry and a mojito cocktail.
We’re sorry, this event is now sold out online. However a limited number of walk-up tickets to the exhibition will be available on the night, and there will be a pay bar in the courtyard so non ticket-holders can still join us.
