Friends visit the Garrick Club, founded in 1831 and home to the largest and most significant collection of British theatrical works of art.
Our tour of the collection, which features over 1000 paintings, drawings and sculptures, including works by Zoffany, Lawrence and Millais, will be led by Mrs Frances Hughes, a NADFAS lecturer in Art and Theatre History. She will guide us through the main rooms of the Garrick Club, and discuss highlights of the collection.
Coffee/tea and biscuits will be served in the Morning Room.
