Get into the festive spirit at the Friends Christmas party and celebrate among the iconic works exhibited in 'Abstract Expressionism' and 'Intrigue: James Ensor by Luc Tuymans'. The evening will include a Christmas cocktail, indulgent treats, carols and festive crafts.
Celebrate the festive season with a cocktail and sing along to traditional and contemporary Christmas carols with FairLawn’s 30-person choir.
Indulge in Peyton & Byrne's Christmas treats, including charcuterie meats, artisan cheeses and mince pies, which will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Unleash your creative side and make your own Christmas decorations or personal gift in a festive workshop. Using a scalpel and working with papercutting techniques, you’ll create a wonderful personalised decoration to take away with you or hang on the Friends’ Christmas tree.
Friends can enjoy a complimentary gift-wrapping service at the Keeper’s House desk for purchases made in the RA shop.
Tickets are also available for a wreath-making workshop alongside the Christmas Party. Lasting for an hour and a half, this workshop will give you the opportunity to experiment with beautiful flowers and foliage in a creative and festive environment. Hosted by genius florist Harriet Parry, of Harriet Parry Flowers, the workshops will cover how to construct and build beautiful wreaths. The ticket price includes all materials and you can take home your creation at the end of the session: a perfect gift, or a great decoration for your own home. Tickets are £85 and the session starts at 7.15pm.
