Family studio: shape up
Family workshop
Sunday 22 September 2019 11am - 3pm
The Clore Learning Centre, Burlington Gardens, Royal Academy of Arts
Free, no booking required.
Family studios are supported by Jeanne and William Callanan
Dream up your own imaginary cityscape and bring it to life with sustainable materials in this drop in family workshop.
For this year's Open House London we've partnered up with the Royal Institution to bring you a day of free drop-in activities bridging art, architecture, science and technology.
Learn how to make rods from recycled newspaper using our STIXX machine, then turn them into weird and wonderful buildings that float above the ground.
As well as building activities, we'll also be working in two-dimensions – collaborating together to create an ink mural of a floating city.
Free, no booking required.
