Get graffitiing at the RA at this free, drop-in family workshop inspired by the paintings of ‘America after the Fall: Painting in the 1930s’.
Graffiti, one of the five elements of hip-hop, originated in New York in the late 1960s. Discover your own graffiti street-art style by combining stencils and scribbles, as you explore the contemporary art of wall painting. Inspired by America after the Fall: Painting in the 1930s, come together to tag totems celebrating the work of some of the world’s great graffiti street art heroines.
These drop-in workshops are suitable for children of all ages and their family members. Out of courtesy to others attending, family studios are not suitable for private parties.
