Rubens and His Legacy
Sir Christopher Moran kindly invites Gold and Platinum Patrons to his exceptional private collection at his magnificent home, Crosby Hall.
Situated in Cheyne Walk, Chelsea, the historic home was originally built in 1466 by the wool merchant, Sir John Crosby and was later acquired by Richard III. Inside the home is an unrivalled collection of English furniture and Old Masters paintings. Highlights include an impressive collection of 17th century English and Dutch paintings including work by Sir Anthony Van Dyck, Pieter Paul Rubens’s protegee and the official court painter to Charles I.
It is a most timely visit in conjunction with the Rubens and His Legacy exhibition at the Royal Academy and is sure to be a highlight of the season.
