Brasil! Brasil! The Birth of Modernism
Celebrate Brazilian Carnival at our Friday night life drawing class.
Inspired by our exhibition Brasil! Brasil! The Birth of Modernism, this workshop is an opportunity to delight in the wonderful world of samba whilst developing your life drawing skills.
Artist Vanessa Da Silva will lead you in a series of life drawing exercises during which you will explore movement, energy and the human form. Working with samba performers you will discover the thrill of life drawing whilst enjoying the reverberating rhythms of Brazilian Carnival.
Whether you’re a seasoned artist, or you’ve never picked up a pencil before, this workshop is an opportunity to practise figure drawing in our beautiful Benjamin West Lecture Theatre.
