For the 32nd Annual Architecture Lecture, Jacques Herzog, Pierre de Meuron and Christine Binswanger of Herzog & de Meuron will present the Swiss firm’s latest projects, revealing the inner workings of the practice.
Herzog & de Meuron was founded by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron in Basel, over 40 years ago and has remained at the cutting edge of architectural practice ever since.
In this lecture Jacques Herzog, Pierre de Meuron and Christine Binswanger will discuss the work of this international practice, which is renowned for landmark buildings including Tate Modern, Beijing’s Bird’s Nest National Stadium and the Royal College of Art’s new studio building in Battersea.
The lecture takes place in the same week as the opening of the Royal Academy’s latest exhibition Herzog & de Meuron which will take an in-depth look at the practice’s projects, both complete and in progress.
If you are attending the lecture in person your ticket includes a complimentary drink and entry into our Herzog & de Meuron exhibition from 7.30–9pm.
This event can be enjoyed in person at the Benjamin West Lecture Theatre, or via a digital livestream.
We are thrilled to partner with Dezeen on this event.
This event was previously called Annual Architecture Lecture: Jacques Herzog.
