RA Collection: Art
This is a simple pencil study of a mountainous landscape that possibly relates to the trip Clausen made to the Cairngorms in Scotland in 1929. He subsequently exhibited a number of watercolours of the area at the Royal Society of Painters in Water-Colours in 1929 and 1930.
