This is a silver model of the roof bay between gridlines 02 and 03 of Waterloo International Terminal to a scale of 1:100.

The architect of Waterloo International Terminal was Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners and it was opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 6 May 1993.

Sir Nicholas Grimshaw was President of the Royal Academy of Arts from 2004 to 2011 and this model is incribed with the names of Academicians and external members who served on the Council of the Royal Academy during his Presidency.
