RA Collection: Art
James Osborne was the Royal Academy Schools porter from 1878-1911. The painting seen in the background of the portrait appears to be Clausen's Diploma work, Interior of an Old Barn, 1908 (03/1233) which Clausen gave to the Royal Acdemy on his election as an Academician.
