RA Collection: Art
This is a still from Kevin Brennan's film Out of Bound, which was part of his Royal Academy Schools final year show in 2024.
Brennan was born in Ireland and now lives and works in London. He is a graduate of The Slade School of Fine Art and the Royal Academy Schools. His practice centres around filmmaking in various forms including short films, video and feature-length documentaries. His work explores ideas surrounding technological evolution and its impact on human relations and experience. Using a variety of cinematic genres and visual languages from gaming and online media, Brennan’s work speaks to a shift in human ontology and identity tracing the fragility and disintegration of empathy.
