Installation photographs of Gallery I (10/1134), Gallery II (08/2564) and Gallery IV (08/2563), during the 1926 'Exhibition of works by the late John Singer Sargent R.A' at the Royal Academy of Arts. Included in the view of Gallery I is John Singer Sargent's portrait 'The Late Henry James, O.M.' (1913), which Sargent restored after it was attacked by Mary Wood, a suffragette, when it was exhibited at the Academy in 1914.
There are a further twenty six photographs of the exhibition although some are duplicate images.
