RA Collection: People and Organisations

Founded in 1883 by Mary Christie, dissolved in 1921, with functions transferred to the Art Department, International Students Bureau. The first President of the Association was John Ruskin. The aim of the association was to bring beauty into the classroom. This it did through the publication of prints, distributed at favourable terms to schools.
