Carvell studied at both Chelsea School of Art and Goldsmiths College before completing a Postgraduate Diploma with the Royal Academy Schools.
Her work is held in collections worldwide and she has exhibited internationally, including a residency in New York City in 2012. Exploring the line between art and fashion, she started her clothing range NIKWEAR in 2013. She has also won many awards for her distinctive work, which she terms “Naff Grafix”.
