Marine painter, draughtsman, drawing-master. Studied in Edinburgh; in 1801 walked to Rome, returning through France. Resided at Oxford, Great Marlow (1808-11), Portsmouth (1811-36), Addiscombe (1836-55). Nephew of Philip Reinagle R.A. (1748-1833); brother of watercolorist John Alexander Schetky (1785-1824).
