Fleur Dempsey was born in London 1994, and grew up in Dorset, UK. She graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in Fine Art in 2016 and completed her Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Academy Schools in 2024.
Fleur Dempsey is a multidisciplinary artist whose work examines the language of the macro and the micro; distance and detail, ideas and experience. Dempsey uses her processes in the studio as a way to realise and track time. Viewing her paintings like diary entries to capture a time of day, a feeling or a memory; we become placed in a moment.
