Enoch Doe (ca. 1785 - fl. 1851)

RA Collection: People and Organisations

A Worcester porcelain painter who worked for Flight, Barr and Barr (operated 1813-1840). He studied under another porcelain painter, Thomas Baxter (1782 - 1821), who started a drawing school in Worcester. Enoch Doe was probably the son of another ceramic painter, James Doe, also a ceramic painter. The 1835 Worcester Directory lists Enoch as a landscape artist.
