Arthur Hill (1846 - 1921)

Irish architect based in County Cork. In office of Thomas Henry Wyatt (1807-1888), 1866-7. Studied architecture at the Royal Academy Schools from 14 June 1869, where he was awarded a Silver Medal for the best Architectural Drawing of the Temple Church (Round Portion) in 1871.

ARIBA 14 December 1868, proposed by T.H. Wyatt, G. Godwin and C.J. Phipps. FRIBA 7 November 1887, proposed by R.A. Hill, R.P. Spiers, A. Cates. Practised with his father Henry Hill (1806-7-1887) from 1870, and with his son Henry Houghton Hill (1882-1951) after 1909.
