Summary Note
This is the first edition of Cellini's autobiography. It carries no publication-date; but F. Tassi in his 1829 edition states that it was published in 1728, and, though published at 'Colonia', was printed at Naples.
An English translation of Cocchi's edition by Thomas Nugent was published in 1771.
Reproductions
A critical edition by O. Bacci, was published at Florence in 1901; an edition with bibliography and indices was published in 1996 at Parma by Fondazione Pietro Bembo (ISBN 8877469005).

The title page is inscribed in ink, in an unidentified hand, 'Given by A. Carlini R.A.' A presentation by A. Carlini before 15 June 1769 is recorded in RAA CM I, 28.
