General Note
Plate [18] of group 3 (Veues Des Belles maisons Des Environs De Paris) carries the engraved number '5'. In group 4 (Veues Des Plus Beaux Endroits De Versailles) plates [2, 62-4] are folded. In group 5 (Veues Des Belles Maisons De France) plates [31, 43] are folded.
Responsibility Note
In group 1 (Veues Des plus Beaux Batimens De France) six plates are signed as made by Pérelle, one as made by Livens, and the rest are unsigned. Mariette's imprint is on all plates except no. [6], which has that of N. Langlois.
In group 2 (Les Places, Portes, Fontaines, Eglises, Et Maisons De Paris) 13 of the 56 plates are signed as made by Pérelle, one ( [16]) as engraved by P. le Pautre, and the rest are unsigned. All bear Mariette's imprint.
In group 3 (Veues des Belles Maisons Des Environs de Paris) 6 plates are signed as made or engraved by Pérelle (pl. [17] by AD Perelle), two as drawn by Israel Silvestre and engraved by Pérelle, the rest are unsigned. All carry Mariette's imprint except [3, 14, 24], which have that of N. Langlois, and [23], which has no imprint.
In group 4 (Veues Des Plus Beaux Endroits de Versailles) 21 plates are signed as made by Pérelle, the rest are unsigned; all carry Mariette's imprint except pl. [51], which has no imprint.
In group 5 (Veues Des Belles Maisons De France) 13 plates are signed as made by Pérelle, 3 as drawn by Israel Silvestre and engraved by Pérelle (one by AD Pérelle), one as drawn by Breteuil and engraved by Aveline. All have Mariette's imprint except eight carrying that of N. Langlois and one which has no imprint.
In group 6 (Diverses Veues De Chantilly) no plate is signed; almost all carry Mariette's imprint, 4 carry that of N. Langlois, and nine have no imprint. This set is dedicated to the Prince de Condé by N. Langlois.
In group 7 seven plates are signed as made, or drawn and engraved, by Pérelle; one, as drawn and engraved by Louis Meunier; the rest are unsigned. All carry Mariette's imprint except pl. [6, 16, 17], which carry that of N. Langlois.

This publication consists of seven groups of plates - each, except the last, having its own title-plate, but with the title of the first seeming to refer to the whole compilation. The groups are:
