The book contains images from Lang's work combining photographic images of natural and industrial landscapes with objects relevant to these narratives: chunks of tarmac road, rocks, slices of trees and crystals. The book accompanied the exhibitions Touch Stone at The Whitaker Museum, Lancashire and Deep Time Dip, at the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny.

The book is number 6 of a limited edition of 50 and is numbered and signed by the artist in pencil on the front free endpaper, which also carries an embossed stamp titled: `Liane Lang Studio.’ It is accompanied by a specially created print, entitled `Nine Ladies Dancing' which is number 2 of 50, numbered and signed by the artist on the verso.
