On the front pastedown is pasted a printed notice, reading, 'This Work Printed By Command Of The Queen, Is Presented By Her Majesty To' - completed by an inscription in ink, 'the Royal Academy of Arts.' The verso of the front free-endpaper is inscribed in pencil, 'S. A. H.', i.e. S. A. Hart RA, Librarian to the Royal Academy 1864-81. Presented by Queen Victoria in 1877.
Binding Note
19th-century half red morocco, red cloth-covered boards, upper and lower covers gilt-stamped with the letter 'A' within the garter lettered 'Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense'; spine lettered 'Raphael Collection Windsor Castle', 'VR' and '1876.'
