The first plate shows the effigy of the Duke of Albemarle lying in state at Somerset House; the last, unnumbered plate shows his effigy lying in state at Westminster Abbey. Plates 2-20 show the funeral procession at Westminster Abbey. Plate 8 includes a representation of Francis Sandford walking in the procession as Rouge Dragon.
Provenance
The front pastedown carries the armorial book-plate of John Arden. This is inscribed in ink, '1819'.
