This volume contains 'Part the First' comprising medals of 1804 - Aug. 18th, 1810, only; part II was never published. The printer statement, on the verso of the title-page, reads 'Printed by Richard and John E. Taylor, Red Lion Court, Fleet Street.'
Following the 'Preliminary observations' (p. v-x) is the description of the medals on each plate, ' A collection of medals of the Emperor Napoleon and of the French Empire' (p. 1-141).
