Williams's biography was done in haste and contains many errors; but is valuable for the many letters which it includes, and for Miss Croft's journal of the last week of Lawrence's life. The Appendix to Volume I consists of two addresses to the students of the Royal Academy (1823, 1825), and 'Catalogues Of The Royal Academy, From 1769 to 1830'. That of Volume II consists of 'Translation Of The Foreign Letters And Documents'. |
